Kacey van Hemert

I'm Kacey, I'm born and raised in Ogden Utah, and I love it here. I worked for a K-12 I.T. department for 5 years; through my work there I met Pine Cove and became part of their team. Computers are fascinating to me, and I have always enjoyed problem solving, so building and maintaining reliable technical environments is a dream job for me!

What do you love about Pine Cove Consulting?

I love getting to work with our team. Everyone is so knowledgeable and willing to share their ideas and solutions. I know that if I cannot solve a problem, one of them can. Getting to meet and work with clients from different states is amazing, and every day is a new challenge. 

What is a typical day at Pine Cove like for you?

I'm always communicating with the team or a client. If I'm not working on a ticket of my own, I like to see what others are working on and help them. Every day my time is spent helping clients to build or maintain their computer systems.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

80% of my free time is spent bouldering. It is the only thing that supersedes my passion for computers. If I'm not currently climbing a rock, I'm doing something to prepare to climb that rock the next day. I spend the other 20% of that time on video games, hiking, and with family.
